DreamHost makes a comeback! HostGator moves back above JustHost where it damn well belongs! BlueHost tanks for some unfathomable reason given that its sister-site HostMonster stayed strong at number two! Yahoo inexplicably shoots up to the top five!

Enough histrionics. A lot of shuffling about this month. I personally blame a combination of sugar/insulin shock from Halloween that wore off just in time to be replaced by the Turkey-Tryptophan post-Thanksgiving coma. Maybe that was just at our house. In any case, there’s a lot more hosting (and other web) stuff coming to the site this month as my wife is holding me to my promise to post more. If nothing else, look for an article later this week about one of the biggest secrets in web hosting.

Until then, happy Hosting!

Okay, a little more movement this month, even if it is just DreamHost tanking from 2nd to 6th. Still, that is a substantial drop without much reason for it. Sure, there have been some blog posts complaining about DreamHost this past month, but that is true for every host every month. I am open to suggestions on this one.

Happy Hosting!

This is a first. I’ve been doing this since spring 2004 and I have never seen it happen. Not a single change in the top ten. On the one hand, it is interesting because it hasn’t happened before. On the other hand, if we’re being honest, it is boring!

Imagine the color commentary on a race where the positions didn’t change: So-and-so is holding fast to number one, while whatshisname clings to number two, and whocares stay strong at three. Same as last lap. Sigh.

It is odd for September to be boring. The summer usually brings the dead times. Global warming causing delayed doldrums? Conspiracy theories are welcome.

Happy Hosting!
